  My buddies and I decided to make a weekends trip up to the Owens from the Riverside area. It was our first time out to this River. We went out... read more Saturday and the bite was slow for us, we pulled out a total of 5 Browns and hooked into a few others. So we decided to call the fly shop and book a guided trip for the next morning! We were able to get on the water with Steve, funniest and nicest guide I have been with. He will sit there 1 on 1 and show you how to cast and coach you as you make the drifts into the river. He's positive on every cast and luckily was patient when my friend would over cast into the trees we pulled in a total of 20+ Brown trout with him! It's amazing how he knew how to read the water perfectly and was able to put us on fish! We will be back again and hopefully get to hang out with Steve again!
